Ward Organizations

Auxiliaries

Each auxiliary organization within our ward serves a unique role in helping members grow in the gospel.

Relief Society

The Relief Society is the oldest and largest women's organization in the world. Founded in 1842, it is dedicated to helping women increase their faith, strengthen families, and provide relief to those in need.

The Clarkston Ward Relief Society meets each Sunday at 10:00 AM and holds regular enrichment activities throughout the month. All women 18 years and older are members of Relief Society.

  • Seek out and help those in need

Young Men

The Young Men organization serves boys and young men ages 11–17, helping them develop their testimony of Jesus Christ, fulfill their duties, and prepare to serve full-time missions and lead in the Church.

Young Men participate in weekly Mutual activities on Wednesday evenings, Aaronic Priesthood quorum meetings on Sundays, and an annual camp experience each summer.

Aaronic Priesthood Quorums

  • Deacons Quorum: Ages 11–12
  • Teachers Quorum: Ages 13–14
  • Priests Quorum: Ages 15–17

YM Schedule

Young Women

The Young Women organization serves girls and young women ages 11–17. Its purpose is to help each young woman come unto Christ and make and keep covenants, preparing her to become a woman of God.

Young Women participate in weekly Mutual activities on Wednesday evenings, Sunday classes, Girls Camp each summer, and a variety of faith-building activities throughout the year.

  • Beehives: Ages 11–12
  • Mia Maids: Ages 13–14
  • Laurels: Ages 15–17

YW Schedule

  • Sunday Class: 10:00 AM
  • Mutual (Wednesday): 7:00 PM
  • Girls Camp: Annually in June/July
  • Personal Progress: Faith-building goals program
Primary

Primary is the organization for children ages 18 months through 11 years. Its purpose is to teach children the gospel of Jesus Christ and help them learn to live its principles. Primary is a place where children feel loved, safe, and taught.

Children meet each Sunday at 10:00 AM in age-appropriate classes where they learn through lessons, songs, and activities. Our Clarkston Ward Primary is a joyful, loving program for all children in the ward.

Primary Classes

  • Nursery: Ages 18 months – 3 years
  • Sunbeams: Age 3
  • CTR Classes: Ages 4–7 (Choose the Right)
  • Valiant Classes: Ages 8–11

  • Activity Days: Monthly for ages 8–11
  • Nursery: During all Sunday meetings
  • Sacrament Presentation: Annual (fall)
Sunday School

Sunday School provides gospel instruction for adult members and youth ages 12 and older. Classes meet each Sunday at 10:00 AM, following Sacrament Meeting.

Sunday School curriculum is centered on the Come Follow Me program, providing members the opportunity to study the scriptures together as a congregation to complement home study throughout the week.

  • Gospel Doctrine: Adults — scriptures and doctrine
  • Youth Sunday School: Ages 12–17 (by age group)
  • New Member Class: Available for recent converts and investigators
